Don't feel bad! It confuses people in real life, too.

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

For a while I've been very confused about the 'Can I give X Sim your number?' townie networking event and how it's supposed to work. I would say yes to it, the game would add the townie and the Sim they're trying to introduce to each other's relationship panels (for some reason it chooses Sims the townie doesn't already know) and I would wait for the phone call from the Sim in question, but it would never come. Recently I started saying no instead because I assumed it was broken, and earlier today for the first time ever I actually got the call from the Sim who was supposed to be given my Sim's number.

So I learned that it does actually work, but I'm still not sure whether saying no is making it work, or it doesn't matter which option you choose and it just doesn't always work for some reason. Does anyone know any more about this? I was excited to see it work finally, but I'm still confused about why it doesn't always work for me.

@Christophee I think I remember the dialog box asking, "do you mind?" to which you're supposed to say "no, I don't mind you giving my number to them" (or "yes, I very much do mind, please refrain from handing out my number to strangers"). I do however agree that it's very much backwards... it's natural for one to answer "yes, I'd actually like you to give my number to them."

@topp Oh my goodness, you're absolutely right. I don't know how many times I've read that dialogue box and not understood the wording properly. Now it all makes perfect sense and the answer was right in front of my face.

Someone should fix with a mod.

I've found that Beck's horses that were redone by Chris Hatch have an option to 'go somewhere', just like a car (but they don't need a driveway! Just a gated enclosure) and I found it actually does work to get someone there, but you have to send the horse home first and then call a taxi for the owner to get home.
For some reason (probably the difficulty of such a thing) the two are not linked-but when the person gets home, (no matter that one has the community lot timer, btw) they're seated on the horse and the hour is the exact same time as when they left.

Still, it's awesome to know the reconfigured horses are capable of going to community lots-

Back again with another tour result and why we should just ignore all options.

There is a result concerning the Historic Walking Tour - if the Wait By the Bus option is chosen, then yeah, may the Reaper have mercy on your Sims, because everyone will come back starved, nearly pooping themselves, and almost exhausted! Yogi's unscrupulous 3rd cousin and its ability to steal food right from Sims' stomachs ain't got nothing on getting stood up by the tour guide!

I had to reset because there were guests who got their butts whooped as well... How come I always avoided this one bad result till now is a mystery!

I’m still waiting for the port of Simlogical’s school mods into real life. I specifically want the option to ban certain student behaviors and have them drop everything else they’re doing and “I go here” at the click of a mouse. 😂

Sims can book a vacation on a computer. Sims always seem to roll the want to go on vacation after their kid goes to college. Eetion and Queen Thebe both want to go on vacation since Andromache went to college. Their son was on the phone when I wanted to send Eetion on a vacation so I tried to see if I could book it on their computer since I've always booked it on the phone before.

Well, that time it happened, Sims came back with their Hunger bar dropped to near zero...

No other way to explain it. Would've been more acceptable had Maxis made a clearer reference to Yogi and his picnic basket obsession!

Still, nothing compare to getting stood up by the tour guide and coming back with depleted Bladder and Energy bars on top.

Well I figured that they were just hungry because they hadn't been able to eat their lunch because Yogi stole it lol.
