I'm preeeeetty sure that a while ago I saw a mod or cc or whatever that was snacks/groceries that were objects you could place and then your sims could go and buy it and eat it. Idk tho. Anyway, I'm looking for that.

These are some mods I found here on MTS:
There is this ancient buyable pizza box and Chinese food mod here which makes the pizza and the Chinese food available in the catalogue.
Plus there is this also ancient buyable Valentine's chocolate box here which your Sims can buy from the catalogue just like the other mod.

The modder I always think of when I think of buyable food and snacks is Exnem- I use the dessert cart often, and also the buyable donuts and fruit.
