Default My game won't stop lobotomizing my sims!
Every time I tried to edit my sims appearance, a glitch occurs where their face switches into that. Mind you, the photo example I shared is supposed to be Jessica Peterson from Belladonna Cove who has blue eyes. It keeps doing this to mostly the female sims (not all but some). The men have no effect whatsoever. Is it a mod conflict or is there an existing mod that would prevent lobotomy on my sims?

Are you using a spesific mod to change their appearance, or just a plain mirror? There are a couple mods that have this glitch (not all, but some)

I did at first use the "Gussy Up" Mod and when the glitch occurred, I thought that going to mirror could fix it, but it didn't. it happens through mirror, too.

She's a looker anyway. I sometimes get the face reset to the base and eyebrows gone when using my mod. They usually can be restored after repeated changing of the appearance. I accept that this dialog should be used sparingly after editing a face externally.

The "Gussy up" mod is one of the mods I've seen this glitch for.

Could be an idea to use a different mod for the face - The Insimenator + (I think?) SimBlender and SimModder lets you change the appearance for other sims even if they aren't selected, and they don't normally cause the face glitch (I've used the Insim mod for ages, never seen it happen with Change Appearance).

If you use Gussy Up first, that could be a potential problem, though. If you need it for clothes, you can change appearance first with another mod or a mirror, and then change the clothes (cancel "change appearance" from the "Gussy up" mod if it's a full makeover).

I'm honestly really curious about what you think "lobotomize" means.

Brown eyes and no eyebrows is usually a sign of borked data - DNA I think? You can tell because unlike other sims, her eyes won't follow your cursor if you click through a pie menu. Normally Jessica Peterson is not affected by this, but maybe something went wrong in your neighborhood? Does the same glitch happen in a new neighborhood?

I use Gussyup a lot, and I have found that it doesn't handle split character files very well, depending upon how they are split. Maybe this sim has a split character file?
