It started off okay, but then I noticed Higgins on the telephone. Of course, I forgot that butlers will automatically phone the police if there's a burglary going on, and- even though there wasn't an active burglary scenario- there was a burglar in the house.

All I've seen your butlers do is make prank phone calls and burn food. I think that there should be a blanket ban on them ever being invited anywhere again! XD

Oh great, a sim version of Jeff Goldblum in The Fly. Thank you for that nightmare.

One of my single household sims was pregnant this round (I haven't moved in her partner yet) and since she has a bronze badget in robotics I thought it would be a smart idea to build a hydrobot and a cleanbot so she don’t have to take care of a baby, trash and a garden.
And all was well until the hydrobot broke and vomited water all over the yard. ”No problem” I though. ”I have a cleanbot!” And all was well until...

When I opened the Tinkers' house in Bluewater yesterday morning, for the first time since January 2023, I was surprised to hear loud music playing, although they were all in bed sleeping. I wondered if they'd left the TV switched on, but when I looked, it turned out that the computer in Stephen and Wanda's bedroom was turned on, and SSX3 appeared to be just starting up. Had they somehow managed to fall asleep with it switched on, and how were they sleeping through it now? When they did wake up a few minutes later (because it was 6 a.m. and they were fully rested) the computer somehow turned itself off. All very odd!

Default A slight issue with MogHughson's "Watch TV from all chairs" mod?

The Sim at the far end of the room thinks he's watching that TV set! His name is Christian Tolley and he's a 1st Semester student at Land Grant University (LGU). The two boys on the sofa in the foreground are Aaron Lightbody and Matt Sparks and they are schoolboys in Baldrair Bluffs. They may go to LGU one day. I've mentioned this issue before, but today's example is even more extreme!

@MogHughson I see you still look into MTS 2 occasionally so you may want to look at this if you drop by. Don't worry about it though. I still like this mod, and you're still one of my favourite modders! I'm sure young Christian will still be able to follow the TV programmes, even though I really don't brlieve he can see the screen. When I was a child and a teen, my family used to play the TV so loud that I could listen to it from the next room with the door closed. Only when it sounded very interesting would I go into the room to see what was on the screen.

From Mog's thread.

"I have also seen it not be perfect when determining whether chairs that are not facing the TV (for example a dining chair around a dining table in the same room as the TV) with Uni as well, but the same layout works perfectly with later EPs. It seems that the function by which you determine whether you have a clear view of something - Ray Trace (0x0078wiki) - has been gradually improved by Maxis over the later EPs. Even at Uni this mod should give you benefits because you can at least use chairs that are not looking straight on at the TV, i.e. those around the sides or at angles. You may just have to watch out a little in open plan houses in early EPs for TV watching with a lot of neck craning."

Looks like it might fix itself if you install Pets.
