Go to your documents folder and under 'Electronic Arts' and Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo there's a mods folder.

Thanks i put the CC package file in My mods>Packages folder but it didnt seem to work >_< well the items didnt show up in my game.

I'm curious, what did you download? It's not really uncommon for it not to work due to the fact that this is a demo and isn't perfect. Try restarting your game.

Also make sure to read the creators instructions/comments/notes to make sure you understand the mod.

OK after a little experimenting, I discovered that the CC I d'loaded (recolors only) just goes into the mods folder NOT into a mods > packages folder. I made a "recolors" folder in the mods folder and it works fine.
I'm guessing it would be good idea to be a bit careful about mod sorting for this new iteration of the sims or that mods folder could get messy.

TS4CAS default replacements - DressBeltShiny, DressFlutter

I made a couple default replacements, pics and packages below -- they're mostly just colour slidery changes, nothing spectactular. But they do fix a couple annoyances I found, so maybe someone else will want them too.

They're not polished in any way (still have the old swatches/thumbs) since I don't know whether I won't have to repackage them anyway for the final game.

The names of screenshots and packages are equivalent. Note that the filenames are always that of the item that is being replaced, since that should make it easier to avoid duplicates -- but it means you need to look at the pic to see what color the actual replacement is going to have (they're not always the same).

Splitting this up in multiple posts for easier overview (and because of the 8-pix-max-uploading thing).

yfBody_DressBeltShiny_BlackWhite.package -- black belt instead of purple
yfBody_DressBeltShiny_PinkBlueNavy.package -- black/black instead of nonsense colours
yfBody_DressBeltShiny_RedBlack.package -- made studs on belt silver-ish instead of red; darker colours
yfBody_DressBeltShiny_YellowLtLime.package -- studs are silver instead of yellow
yfBody_DressFlutter_SolidBlue.package -- dark blue instead of neon (on my screen)
yfBody_DressFlutter_SolidBlueLt.package -- just a different shade that I personally like better
yfBody_DressFlutter_SolidMint.package -- now with dots; colour change too
yfBody_DressFlutter_SolidWhite.package -- more white-ish white rather than light grey

yfTop_BraSports_Black.package -- deeper black w/ white border
yfTop_BraSports_Pink.package -- lighter overall; white border
yfTop_SweaterOffShoulderFold_SolidBlue.package -- less blinding colour, shading more visible
yfTop_SweaterOffShoulder_Purple.package -- dark blue instead of purple
yfTop_TankCollarCrochet_SolidLime.package -- nicer color IMO
yfTop_TankRacerback_SolidBlueGreen.package -- less blinding colour, shading more visible (might have overdone it a bit, but I still like it better than the original, so here goes)
yfTop_TankRacerback_SolidYellowGray.package -- actual yellow instead of neon lime

yfBottom_ShortShorts_NavyBlue.package -- more retro colours
yfBottom_ShortShorts_Pink.package -- dito, and not pink
yfBottom_ShortsSports_BeltBlack.package -- sides are grey instead of purple (is much easier to combine that way)
