Default "Controller - CLP - Community Lot - Populator" #840. Vacation Lot refuses to load.
First post on here, so I had my Sim travel to Three Lakes for vacation and it was okay when I got there, so once I chose his room and saved/exited my game, it wasn't until I booted up the game and I was hit with this error. This is pretty confusing to me and the error log is much more confusing. I'd appreciate the help! ^^

Post the error log, but it that almost certainly means you've installed some mod incorrectly.

You have a mod for the Populator as the last version of it only have 11 lines. Search the downloads directory for these hexadecimal bytes to discover which mod it is: 29 8F 02 7F. Or use one of those fancy tools like What's Caused This.

I checked it out with What's Caused This and, thank you so much! The Community Lot Normal Speed Adjuster mod was oddly the problem. I initially thought it was INsiminator but I was wrong. Thank you nonetheless.

Right, the problem is that that mod requires another mod, which you did not install. If you installed the required mod, it would work.

I will just add this in case the error persists - I had a recurring error which seemed very similar to this, and it was caused by having TwoJeffs' Visitor Controller set up on the lot and having a setting set where hobbies were a criteria for sims to be allowed/banned. This error would come up when the controller encountered sims who did not have a One True Hobby set, which some NPCs and newly-created sims don't.

Anyway, MidgeTheTree has an updated version of Visitor Controller where she very kindly found the source of the error for me and fixed it So if you get it happening again, and you ever use the hobby settings on the visitor controller, try the newer version.

Check out my thoughts on Psymchology (Sim Psychology) - latest post is on the main six aspirations.
