Default After using hoodchecker, all my sim relationships say "Unknown to Uknown"
I was going to use SimPE to manage some memories when I decided to use Hoodchecker. My Sims are now no longer visible in SimPE. I checked my game and they are still there. (For anyone who is a worrywort like me, yes I have a backup of my neighborhood, don't fret!)

I decided to use Hoodchecker because all my sims were showing up as those silly potato heads (with red backgrounds too...). I did everything I could to fix this. I cleared cache, I did "no meta", I played the game for a second and then turned the game on, I fully let the neighborhood load before checking; my silly little sims are nowhere to be found in the list.

I've used SimPE before and they've shown up. Does anyone have any inkling of what this could be? Thanks dearly.

Quick edit: ALL of my neighborhoods are showing up this way, actually! I just checked.

Did you actually load a household? SimPE might actually be right, and something may be wrong with your sims- a sim will still appear to be part of the household when you first load it up, even after deleting it. Of course, I'm also simply more inclined to believe that it's SimPE acting up, and that it's simply unable to find the proper character file locations; would you by any chance be playing the legacy collection? I play legacy collection, and even after manually directing SimPE to the right place for my hood files, SimPE still throws errors most of the time when I try to edit anything.

I'd like to update that sims are now appearing, it's just the relationship part. And no, I am using UC.
I played for about an hour today and there were no problems.

Usually that just means that SimPE loaded an incomplete version of your neighborhood and now that's what's in the cache. You can clear the cache by reinstalling SimPE or restarting your computer.

Update: It somehow started to work. I had just not used my computer for a couple of days and then it worked. So if anyone is reading this and tried everything, I'd suggest starting from here and then doing everything I mentioned in my original post.
