Default [SOLVED] Specific Sim Error: "Too Many Iterations"
So... I created a neighborhood and made all the Sims in it myself so I could play with them peacefully and slowly progress through their lives. However, one of these Sims is causing a “Too Many Iterations” error.

When I play her household directly, the error doesn’t happen. It only occurs when she appears as a walk-by in other households, visits a community lot, or when one of my other Sims calls her on the phone.

I’d like to know what could be causing this and if anyone can help me. I already scanned the log with What Caused This, but it didn’t point to anything specific. Also, this only happens with this particular Sim.

Thank you in advance for any help. Here’s the full error log:

Can you put the error log in Spoiler tags?
[spoiler ] text [ /spoiler]
(without the spaces)

...

Have you tested without CC or mods?

Does the sim have anything in their inventory- some items (like beds) can cause this error if placed in the inventory.

Can you test to put other clothes on the sim (different meshes, not jsut different textures)? Some clothes can cause errors (or crashes) under some circumstances.

You definitely have some mod that is changing how sims are initialized, and also the game seems to think this sim has never been initialized, even though you claim to have played her house before.

I tested and checked everything you mentioned, but none of those were the cause. It turned out to be Big Woe's "Interest Mod". I had edited this specific Sim's interests in SimPE before playing with her, so I think it caused some kind of conflict when the mod tried to generate her interests after they had already been modified.

I removed the mod since I don't really use it anyway, and the issue was solved. Thanks for the help!

Yes, that was definitely the problem. I modified the Sim's interests before playing with her for the first time, and I was using Big Woe's Interest Mod. The mod probably conflicted because the Sim already had interests assigned by me before she was ever placed on a residential lot for the first time.

Thank you so much for the help!

Make sure you go through the game help section before asking, and do the necessary pre-work (because if you haven't said what you've already tried, we're always going to ask you to check those things first).

In a lot of cases, mods/CC is the cause of the problem - so chcking recent mods, testing without mods, checking via HCDU and other tools, possibly a 50/50 search and so on (depending on the issue) is likely to help you on the way of finding the problem. Plus, it saves a lot of unnecessary forth and back (and chances are you'll manage to find the answer yourself).
