This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default NPC neighbor cloning on apartment base
Sul-sul !
I have a recurring problem in apartment lot. When I move a NPC neighbor into my household, an annoying bug occurs.
When my newly formed couple moves out and I move a new household onto the lot, the former NPC duplicates ; none of the other vacant units get occupied, and — worse yet — the former neighbor fights with their clones and wets themselves.
What can I do please ?

You can just delete them with move objects. The other units will not become occupied until your sim rents an apartment.

Normally the sims would rent an apartment shortly after arriving on the lot, and then it would no longer be an apartment base lot.

Ah. They need to specify if the family was moved in or not.

Since they did specify it was an apartment base lot, I assume the family was not moved in yet.

The former neighbors are respawning because they still have an apartment token telling them to appear on the lot. Download the FFS lot debugger from MATY, place it on the lot (small black box with a bat symbol on it found in Buy/Miscellaneous), click it and use the "Fix... Bad Apartment Residencies" option. After it runs, use moveobjects to delete the former neighbor again.
