Razanne Room - Muslim set 4 - Girl's Room

Background:

Razanne is often called the "Muslim Barbie" doll. She was developed by Noor Art http://www.noorart.com/razanne.shtml and the dolls are collected and/or played with by Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Okay so on with the room . . .

These are all recolors of maxis objects found in Sims2, Nightlight and University. All recolored by me using "wizards of SimPE" and Homecrafters Plus for the walls and floor

First off it is really, really pink. Personally I would mix and match this with elements from other rooms... I'm not much of a pink person . . . but some people are . . .

I've divided the objects in the zip files. . .only the "religious" zip file has objects of anything of religious significance to Muslims (or to your Muslim Sims ) -- atleast I hope I got them all in this folder

Other than the pink, which I call "Razanne Pink," there are two other colors to mix and match, purple and maroon.

Beds are recolors of the Slim System beds. I really never use them before because they seem so dark and gloomy, but I wanted them for the bed canopy for this room. You see that three of the beds have flowers going clear to the top edge. Actually I really like the white with purple flowers on it.

The other two have the "Shahada" or declaration of faith that Muslim's say when they rise in the morning and before going to sleep at night. Putting it on a bed canopy so it's one of the first things seen in the morning and one of the last things seen at night is highly appropriate.

There are 5 different bedding colors. One is straight pink, the other is a pink and maroon contrast, and then 3 - side flowered beddings with blocked colors in the center and foot.

There are thee polyagonal tables (in the three colors of pink, maroon and purple) (crazy 8 tables)

and a new white lamp base with three lamp shades in ... you guessed it ... pink, maroon and purple .. from here on out I'll save time and use "PMP" for (all together now, group participation) "pink, maroon and purple." (Ilistria Lamp)

There are three straight flower canvasses in PMP
and
three PMP flowered canvasses with a Bismillah* yellow center. (*in the name of God, the most beneficent the most merciful . . .") There is also a rainbow crescent and star canvass and a pink and purple Shahada canvass. (A Stroke)

There are two walls:
1. Razanne pink with white wainscotting and a top maroon flower border.
2. Tiny maroon flowers with white wainscotting, a Razanne Pink boarder at the top and one just above the wainscotting. There is also a purple crescent and star topping the top pink boarder .. though it's hard to see and looks like just a ball in some instances.

The carpets:
1. Razanne pink with white flowers (2x2)
2. White with maroon flowers (2x2)

The base of the "Mystic Life Flower Vase" has been recolored
and so has the base of the "Blue Sky Bonsai" which also now sports pink flowers. (I put these in the toy zip file)

The wall hanging in most elements is the same as the prayer rug. The wording on it is "Allahu akbar" (God is the greatest) (Forth Element Wall Hanging).

The prayer rug has no wording on it of any kind, just lovely girl friendly colors. (Thirsty bath mat)

There is a Quranic recitation certificate,. One of the things Muslims and Muslim Sims should do is learn the Quran in Arabic -- competitions and certificates of merit are a common part of a Muslim child's life (Sims must wash their hands sign) -- it is the little green sign/detail by the wall hanging.

The "talking table" has been recolored to a white top and Razanne pink legs. I didn't do a desk because personally I like tables much better for sim homework ... with a desk there only one usable space, so once a computer goes on it, that's it.

Okay that takes care of the easy stuff

The "country comfort corner table" has been recolored to a brighter white and given a Razanne Pink curtain. The table itself comes in two whites -- basic and one with a Razanne brush and purse sitting on top. I envisioned this table to be the storage place, armoir, for all of Razanne's clothes and accesories. Hopefully you can see that detail.

Though not as clear as I'd like, you can still tell what these two things are.

The Groovy dresser, comes three drawer colors, PMP, and two dresser bases. One is basic white and the other (white) has a set of pink Zikr beads on top.

The closest thing to Zikr beads is a Rosary. It is used for counting the parts of a prayer or number of times a prayer is said.
