Re-homing instructions:

Oakie was rescued from the back yard of his home by our team after neighbours reported his ill-treatment. He had been severly neglected, was left without food and water for days at a time and was often kicked and hit. Due to the nature of Oakies background, it is important that he be placed in an environment without children as he can be quite aggressive towards people he does not know and this could be dangerous to a small child. Oakie is still extremely underweight and will require alot of work to rectify this. Oakie is in need of an extremely loving and secure environment, he requires alot of attention and would be best suited to a home where at least one family member is around for most of the day as there is a possibility that he could become destructive and destroy posessions.
