Singin' in the Rain movie set

Surely you have seen the old Hollywood movie "Singin' in the Rain" with Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor. If not - go do so immediatly! It is one of the best musicals to come out of Hollywood - ever!

I love this movie :lovestruc (surprised?) and when I saw the new challenge theme I immediatly thought of this movie. So here you have the street where Gene Kelly danced with a lamppost - without being drunk!



The movie set is equipped with a few stores, a restaurant and a hair salon so your sims can look like real movie stars. Stores: clothing, pharmacy and books.




I have made the movie set as a community lot. However I have also made it ready for being converted to a residential lot. There is a total of 7 empty appartments, which can easilly be merged to larger homes for your sims.




I wanted it to look just like the movie. Unfortunately, the sims' laws of physics do not match my wishes. I did my best and hope that you like it. It was also my intention to have all the signs from the movie - like I can really make stuff like that! So, if you are capable, willing and interested, you are very, very, very welcome to make them.
