When luxurious, glamorous Hollywood first boomed, America was enthralled. The poor and working class people could taste a different time and place in a way like never before. There was now a type of entertainment the entire country and all it’s classes could enjoy. Needless to say, Americans flocked to see movies in whatever way they could.

Vaudeville houses, along the same track, modestly entertained the working-class people who could not experience the high-profile, glittery lifestyle of the rich and famous. A troupe of actors, dancers, musicians, and more would put on a show a whole family could enjoy (and afford.) Although upper class America often looked down on this sort of entertainment, both worlds came together when Vaudeville houses began showing movies as a regular part of their show.

I hope you enjoyed your little history lesson and that this lot goes along with Old Hollywood nicely. Now, I’m tiered, so that is all I have to say. Happy simming!
