This is one of a series of luxury lots I'm offering. I want my Sims to include a wide range of socioeconomic status -- from blue collar to blue blood -- just like most real-world communities; so I leave some with their initial $20k grubstake, while I use the "BoolProp" creator console to give others additional inheritances that qualify them for immediate middle, upper-middle, and upper-crust status. This series is for those who also would like to have a few fat cats in your neighborhoods. All of my offerings are primarily one floor homes, since it's hard to keep track of Sims in large, multileveled living areas. Landscaping is also minimal; though lush grounds are lovely, trees all too often make it hard to see the Sims, let alone get your cursor on them. Also, all these offerings use only what's provided in the base game -- no custom content -- leaving you to make modifications that better reflect your personal taste.

Believe it or not, this extraordinary offering is based on an actual "classy commune" in Teaneck, New Jersey. About ten years ago, the news media reported on an elderly and charismatic widower who loved the company of beautiful young women and came up with this fantastic concept: He brought together a handful of lovely young executives, each with a six-figure income; then they mortgaged a to-die-for multi-million-dollar mansion; leased a Rolls Royce; hired servants; and each member of the commune -- the old gent included -- occupied private quarters there, sharing all the luxuries and costs -- including exclusive use of the Rolls one day a week and one full weekend on a rotating basis! Though rumors of some sort of sex cult brought initial media attention, it seems that the gent's relationship with the gals was purely platonic; most of the ladies had boyfriends; and, when one of the unattached gals was asked if any of them had engaged in any sexual acts with their beloved "Daddy," she wistfully replied, "I wish."

Anyway, here's my rendering of a similar arrangement: six separate living quarters, a cathedral ceilinged lounge and party duplex, a half-indoor-half-outdoor pool, a game room, astronomy deck, and a rooftop barbecue park. Due to the game's restrictions, I made the old gent a millionaire so he could build and furnish the whole place himself; then I used BoolProp to generate five hot roommates and let them decide among themselves how to handle reimbursing him for their accommodations and expenses, if at all. I've fully decorated Daddy's place but ran out of steam when it came to wall dressings for his Platonic harem. You can do that for them.

If you wish to give each individual an assigned living space, you can use the following locked-door mods to limit access to each living area and let everyone use the common areas:

However, I elected to simply dump them all in there without restrictions and watch with interest as they decide for themselves where to eat, sleep, hang out, etc. I also don't mind if one or more of the gals try to get some WooHoo going with their benefactor, but so far he's wisely maintained a strict fatherly demeanor, realizing the sort of fireworks that could develop were he to start fooling around and stirring up jealous wrath.

Should you decide to invite Daddy Bigbucks into your Neighborhood, please share any juicy antics that develop in this classy commune. Enjoy!

NOTE 1: This lot has been tested/modified/played for a week. (NOTE: In this type of pricey lot, it's assumed that the family will remain sufficiently solvent so that, when an item breaks down, it can simply be replaced rather then repaired, thereby minimizing any hassles.)

NOTE 2: I've done my best to make the furnishings glitch-free, but I'm sure your Sims will be only too happy to advise you in no uncertain terms of any I've missed.

NOTE 3: Any Sims depicted in the snapshots are merely for ambiance and are not included in this package.

NOTE 4: Complex structures such as this are processor intensive, so you'll need a fast machine to handle large parties, or else you'll be watching a slide show. :-)
