The two Uni arcade games have annoying tooltip that shows up when moving mouse over them. (See the picture.) Normally those tooltips should only appear in Buy/Build Mode, but they appear even in Live Mode for Uni arcade games.

This annoyance is now fixed. Mouseover tooltips will no longer appear in Live Mode for two Uni arcade games.

Compatible with AL.

If there are other Maxis objects that also suffer from this glitch, please let me know. I'll include them in this fix as well. If they are from later stuff packs, separate fix may be needed.

Similar fix for two Teen Style Stuff objects with the same glitch is available here. It's ONLY for the players who also have FreeTime though.

Some old custom objects suffer from this glitch too. Numenor gave me information on how to remove Live Mode tooltip.

As for the other custom objects that may suffer for this glitch, the problem can be easily fixed opening the package with SimPE and editing the Object Data (Raw Data tab): locate field 0x002B ("Tooltip Name Type"), in section "Miscellaneous" and set it to ZERO.

Installation:

DO NOT put in your Downloads folder. If you do, all objects fixed by this mod will bear annoying custom star in their thumbnails, and delete button in the catalog will be enabled.
Instead, make a subfolder in the following location and put it there.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 <Your Latest EP>\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins
(or the corresponding folder on your system if your game is not installed in C:\Program Files)

e.g. If your latest EP is Apartment Life, the location will be like this.
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Apartment Life\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins

Mansion and Garden Stuff is more like a mini EP than a SP. If you have M&G, you should use M&G folder.
