I really like social groups in Apartment Life, their distinctive attire and the way they greet each other with specific gestures.
When you move one of those sim in a playable family, it will no longer belong to a social group, though.
I don't care much about their network perks about reputation, but I do care that they will not perform their typical gesture autonomously anymore. Silly thing, I know, but it annoys me.

This mod should help: if you put a specific object in the inventory of a playable sim, that sim will behave like it belongs to the assigned social group. What I mean is shown in the attached picture: Connor Weir (a playable in Belladonna Cove, which I assigned to Techies group with this mod) autonomously does the "Fake Out" gesture to his wife.

Specific objects are from Decorative/Misc, as follows:

Example: if you put the Fancy Stuff item in some sim inventory, that sim will become a "Socialite" and will autonomously perform the "Kiss Kiss Darling" gesture. You've been warned <grin>.

I'm almost sure that the most part of players hate all that hugging increase in AL, instead, but I'm one of those silly players who does enjoy this stuff, therefore here you are, for those who like this kind of stuff too.
