> Northern Expedition Notes

The Brotherhood of Copper has made a grand discovery in the wilds of Old New England. One of our scouting parties searching near the ruins of Portland met with caravanners who led them to a settlement called "Crayton Crater", built on the remains of the former burg of Craneytown. While only Boston was ever struck during the Great War, towns like this did suffer severe damage. Amazingly though, most of it main street area is still intact.

The citizens are apparently descendants of Vault 82 dwellers, and have rebuilt the town well. Theres a doctor, a derelict library they've granted us full access to, a local saloon built into a very well preserved church, and a chapel to Saint Bella in its basement. The local sheriff has even built a lookout tower, though raiders and mutants in the area are far and few between.

Paladin Ward suggests setting up an outpost nearby, possibly near the Portland ruins. If it goes through, Crayton Crater could be a very useful staging point in the northeast.

So heres my entry into MST2's Apocalypse Challenge. Crayton Crater is a homage to Fallout 3's Megaton, minus the nuke of course. Everything here has been pre-aged and sullied to make it look really downtrodden and radiated, and it even comes with two ghosts from the Great War!

Enjoy your own radiated, slightly rusty slice of heaven, and congratulations to MTS2 for 5 years in the Sims Custom Content Community!
