Who hasn't always wanted to do this?
The combination of the beautiful Japanese architecture and epic setting of this lot would make any sim melt. Perfect if you're looking for something serene, secluded, and very open. Any nature-loving sim would feel as at home here as in the great outdoors, with a gigantic courtyard, lengthy walkways, both upstairs and downstairs, and many rooms left open to the elements.
Even though the lot is big, and the house looks like a castle, it's actually a cozy fit for 6 sims. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living area and a kitchen. Also, on the roof there are 4 gazebos, located on the four corners of the house: One with a painting easel, one with an outdoor fireplace, one with a telescope, and one with a bathtub--and privacy screen of course!
The master bedroom is set apart from the rest of the house, so you will have to do some walking, it makes a perfect hideaway from the world, and it also has a fireplace, which shares a chimney with another one in the kitchen below. The other bedrooms are small and simplistic, keeping with the Japanese tradition.
And--the best part! The courtyard has a hot spring, produced by a stream that flows up from under the mountains. The hot spring is surrounded by rock and yes, it is swimmable!
This lot really should be placed at 53 Waterfall Way, next door to the gigantic lake surrounded by cliffs. In my game, the lake lot is taken by alexiasi's "Stoney Falls", which you might have noticed in the background of some of my screenshots. I'd recommend getting that lot as well, and putting the two side-by-side in their designated lots, because they look great together.
If there's anything you don't like about the lot, it shouldn't be too hard to change. Once you download it, it's yours, do whatever you want with it! I will say this, though, that having someone with a handiness skill high enough to upgrade the fireplaces to "fire-proof" is a big help on this lot. And also, a mod to disable the "shoo out of room" action would be very helpful here as well. Some of the objects on this lot were placed using "moveobjects on", so if you move things around and can't get them back where they were, just press CTRL+SHIFT+C, and type that code in.
The price is a bit ridiculous, so you may want to go ahead and type in another cheat code while you're at it: "freerealestate" will get you this lot for free.
Furnished: $211,651
Unfurnished: $108,350
Note: This lot does contain some EA download content, I may try and upload another version later that doesn't have any of this, just in case you can't play if you don't have it... At any rate, if you can manage to use the lot without the download content, you'll be missing some stuff.
Also, thanks to Lostaccount who made one of the sims I used in the screenshots. (I changed her a bit, but still)
Thanks for checking out my lot! This is my first ever submission, so I hope you like it!

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

No Shoo Mod + IndieStone-Friendly Version!

I've been annoyed by Sims not using the same bathroom and shooing each other, so I finally learned more...
