The Shogun's Castle: currently in use as a museum with a small bookshop and oriental-style cafe, this castle is considered a major historical landmark and rightly so. The castle has been kept in good repair and is used by sims and their families for days out. It is well known amongst the locals that the Shogun used to be the richest and most powerful man in the country. However, all that wealth seems to have vanished. Rumour has it the Shogun has it buried deep beneath his castle - only to be found and taken by the man or woman deemed worthy by the shogun himself... Ofcourse, these are only rumours and despite surveys, nothing has been found so far.

The Castle is based on a number of examples, but mostly Matsumoto's Castle (see below) and the Solarii / Oni fortifications in Tomb Raider.

The Castle contains a sizable tomb (which is not on the pictures above, as I wouldn't want to spoil it for you. Should you wish to have a peak though, please check the spoiler at the bottom) and has a bedroom / bathroom (Currently the museum but equally outfitted for a residence), a hallway, a small storage area in the little tower, a kitchen (currently a small cafe) and a living room / study (currently the bookstore). The top floor currently has two training dummies but can be used as an extra bedroom or as a sporting area. As such, the house can easily be converted to a residence if required. The gatehouse is currently empty, but can be converted to an extra bedroom, guesthouse or study.

Please note that although I have been making sims houses for a while now, this is my first upload. If anyone gets stuck anywhere, I'd be happy to help out for as far as I can. I have also included a number of items from the Sims Store (the japanese dining pack), which currently goes for 1400 simpoints. They can be found via the link below. These items can easily be replaced though if need be.
