Ahhh...my first upload, at last :D

Baan Rim Nam translates as House (Baan) by (Rim) Water (Nam). Might sound strange in English but in Thai, anyone who hear this phrase would imagine a peaceful home next to any source of calm water (river, pond, canal, etc.) and so it is. What outdoor lovers, anglers or gardeners could wish for more? This house is designed just for these lovely simmies alike.

Essential Information:

1 Bedroom
1 Extra room (can be convert into a single bedroom, study or recreational area)
1.5 Bathroom
+ Kitchen and Dining space
+ Open living room (literally open to the sun and breezes!)
+ Fishing pond & gardening space

Price? It's OMG!
Furnished: 18,534

Less than 20k! How affordable. Easy breezy for a couple, not to mention an extra space enough for a child. Ready to move in, what are you waiting for?

For anyone out there who is interested in some of the unfamiliar architectural features of traditional Thai houses back in like hundred and hundred of years, read here. To keep it short, I'll explain them in bullet points.

Why the high floor level?
  • As a measure against floods
  • Safety from wild beasts! ARGHH!
  • Storage space for ploughing set, wagon, boats, etc.
  • Handicraft making and chilling out area

How about the large open platform area? What are they for?
  • Sunshine!...and some spotless minds
  • Good clean air from the trees in Sunset Valley/Riverview
  • Breathtaking views, it's R&R everyday.
  • Yoga? Anyone?

Hmm...I think that's enough. Special thanks to www.thailandlife.com for these nifty information.

!Important Information!
