Eric Northman, played by Alexander Skarsgard on the HBO series True Blood.

About Eric: "Sheriff of Area 5, a vampire district in Louisiana. Originally of Nordic descent, he is very old and very powerful in the vampire community. He runs the vampire bar Fangtasia, and discovers Sookie's unique ability during her first visit there. Intent on following the Vampire justice system, he uses Sookie to figure out who has stolen money from him. In the basement of Fangtasia he imprisons people who are suspected of committing crimes against vampires while he investigates. During the first season, it is moderately implied that he is romantically interested in Sookie, looking more to use her gifted abilities." (Wikipedia)
