Ok i haven't done a starter in a while, and this time i thought i would try a little harder, ok a lot harder
The house is a 2 bed house with 1 bath and an open plan kitchen living area, it has all the essential items and there is still over $1000 simoleons for your sims to spend when they move in! :o It is fully landscaped front and back in a mountain style, it is all over one floor and comes fully furnished with the exception of the second bedroom, but that can easily be done within the extra 1k!
