The Sapperton House renovation, having been commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Sapperton as an update to their 35-year old home, is now up for sale. Originally designed as a space-maximizer on a long, narrow lot, this house recycles the solid and versatile foundation into a modern form.



Specifications: 2-3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths

Requirements: The Sims 3 + The Sims Store sets; No additional custom content req.

Notes: This home was inspired by a house I've seen in my city.

This home was decorated as a 2 bedroom home but easily can be reconfigured to add 1 or 2 more bedrooms.

The living floor is a double-height floor, which makes the lighting awfully weird. If anyone has any advice on how to get a more seamless lighting effect on multiple-level floors, I'd be grateful.

This house, with a small bit of editing (i.e. removing the pool), will fit a 20x30 lot very nicely.

I actually built the pre-renovation 1970s version of this home as well. I thought it would be neat to have a story around home renovation for my new-wealth sims. I might upload that too if anyone's interested.
