The Magistrate's Keep (Updated)
This had previously been tagged for some TSR patterns used and has since been updated. I would first like to apologize to anyone who downloaded the original file as the TSR patterns I used, were used unknowingly. I have since removed all TSR content from my system to avoid a similar problem in the future.
Also, I overlooked the fact that I had used one of Tammy_Trauma's excellent roof recolors. So a personal apology goes to her. You can get it HERE. (I will also credit her below with the other custom content.)
The new file also uses Authentic Brick By Guatla (also credited below). This pattern was used to replace the TSR patterns.
Again, though the use of TSR patterns was unintentional on my part, I'm sure it was quite annoying on yours. I hope you'll download again now that they havebeen removed.
All screenshots have been updated to reflect changes.

This is the fourth installment of my medieval series and it took a ridiculous amount of time to complete. The home consists of several buildings, The 2 Main Buildings (or one building since they're connected on the top floor) are home to the kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a study area in the 2nd floor hallway. The tower houses another full bathroom on the ground floor and a study on the very top (no livable levels in between). The guards booth at the entrance consists of a spare or kids bedroom with 2 beds. The lower "dungeon" has a cell for your captives and a study area to keep the guard entertained (the cell serves no real function, it is soley for decoration, but if you can convince one of your neighbors to go in, you could remove the gate in buildmode and keep them as long as you'd like. But, don't forget to feed them). The entire home is surrounded by a stone wall for your magistrates protection. You don't want those pesky peasants getting in!
Known issues:
- On all of my previous lots where I have used split leveling, I have removed the floating ceiling problem by removing a section of the offending level and blocking the void with a tree or shrum or some other decoration. I was unable to do that on this lot due to the complexity and space constraints. So, when viewing the lot from ground level and tilting the camera slightly upwards, you will see the floating ceilings. This isn't a big deal during actual game play, because how often do you actually play from that angle? But if you're like me, and imperfections like this annoy you like a bad rash that just won't go away, I apologize and feel free to attempt to correct it. But be forwarned, I did an absurd amount of level manipulation on this lot during creation, so adjusting one square could potentially alter the 8 surrounding squares.
- You're sims cannot use the mirror in the spare/kids bedroom because of where I placed it. I am aware of this, it was used merely for decoration.
I beileve that's it.
Other Lots In This Series:
- Stonegate - A luxury home for your medieval pleasure
- Serf's Quarters - A Medieval Starter Home w/ an Outhouse
- Peasant's Hearth - Another Medieval Starter

I realize this may seem like a lot of custom content, but the majority of it is for decore. For anyone who doesn't want to use all of it, I would suggest at least getting the patterns by Tammy_Trauma and the fireplace by Cameranutz2 as well as the brick pattern by Guatla, so at least the shell of the house is complete.
Note* - I just now realized I never placed a single painting in the house, so you'll have to do that yourselves.
Hope you enjoy it. And as always, feedback of all kinds is always welcomed and appreciated.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
