In Sims 2 the grandparents didn’t age unless you played them, so I got in the habit of having them live with one of their children and help raise the grandchildren. Since they can age on their own in Sims 3 it is not necessary to do that but after trying it out I decided that I enjoy the extra help with the kids so I am starting a series of Generation Houses.

In this house the heir has started a family and his parents are living with him BUT his much younger, spoiled, irresponsible brother who refuses to grow up and give up his partying lifestyle has taken over the basement as his place of residence and since the children ADORE their playful uncle the heir has allowed him to stay.

The main floor has:
Parlor
Kitchen with small breakfast nook
Full guest bath
Family room
Formal Dinning room
Mudroom turned workout room

The upstairs has:
Master bedroom with bath
Grandparent bedroom with bath
2 child bedrooms with own baths
Extra bath that Grandpa and Dad usually end up sharing

The basement has:
Rec room
Kitchenette
Bath
2 guest bedrooms rooms
(Now being used as spoiled siblings bedroom and office)

The lot has:
Swimming pool
Play area
Patio
Driveway with parking for 2 cars and 2 bikes
