Old Bayou Briars Victorian

Old Bayou Briars is a lovely and spacious Queen Anne Victorian style family home located near the bayou in Twinbrook. It is an old villa full of Southern charms and grace. However, time has left it's mark on the house - it's a little worn-out and faded in places. A perfect home for Sims who want to live close to the nature in a comfortable and stylish enviroment.

I built the house for a specific lot in Twinbrook: 26 Herschel's Pond Road. Hence the odd lot size (36x36). It should fit quite nicely with any 40x40 lot though.

The main house has three floors with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a toilet. It is decorated with tender colours of roses: Pink, red, green and shades of white.

The shed/garage outside also offers three floors. The ground floor functions as inventor's workshop, the second floor has modest lodginds for a guest and in the basement are sculptor's studio and nectar cellar.

The garden is lush, beautiful and on it's way to hopelessly overgrown. Children will enjoy the playground area while the orchard will keep green-thumbed Sims busy. The little pond has some common fish in it. And there isn't a better place to admire the sun setting behind the bayou than sitting in the cozy porch and drinking some cool, preferably homemade nectar.

1st floor: Entrance hall, kitchen, formal dining, parlour, lounge and bathroom.
2nd floor: Hallway, master bedroom, children's bedroom, nursery and bathroom.
Attic: Laundry and toilet.

As usual, I have used EA Store Stuff with this lot. I tried to keep it under control to make the lot more user-friendly, but ended up using quite a bit. Most of it is decorative but there are also a couple of functional objects.
