I made these Sims for my fantasy-themed world, because I am rather fond of dwarves. This couple is made to be compatible with each other. This is my first upload (after using this site for years) and I hope you enjoy it.
EDIT 6.19.2012: I added some slider links necessary to make the sims as well as necessary info for updating sliders with each patch.
I used the following sliders to make the dwarf-like bodies:
http://nene.modthesims.info/download.php?t=378416
http://nene.modthesims.info/download.php?t=374167
http://nene.modthesims.info/download.php?t=399866
http://modthesims.info/showthread.p...5#startcomments (You will have to scroll down a bit to find it, but Jonha uploaded some testable height sliders.)
You will need to download all four for the Sims to work properly, otherwise they will come out looking rather freakish in the game.
You will need to download a core slider mod for the sliders to work, like Awesomemod or Twallan (which is the one I use). Just make sure that you update that core mod with each patch or your game will crash.
The screen shots show the dwarves in Ambitions, World Adventures, and High-End Stuff attire/hair, but I uploaded them in base game clothing only, so that anyone can play them.
Ghorek Thunderhammer is a blacksmith with a short temper and a distrust of elves. His traits are: Hates Outdoors (dwarves prefer living in their mountain abodes), Hot-Headed (dwarf stereotype), Handy, Perfectionist (dwarves take pride in their work), Eccentric. His lifetime wish is "The Tinkerer."
Drusilla Thunderhammer is a baker who thinks elves are petty and silly, and anything that is silly just bores her. Her traits are: Hates Outdoors, No Sense of Humour, Natural Cook, Perfectionist, Hot-Headed. Her lifetime wish is "Culinary Librarian."
I added this screen shot so you can see that they do, in fact, have dwarven stockiness. One thing I noted is that, when my dwarves had babies, the toddlers looked sorta distorted when they sat on the floor... so you might want to take that into consideration if that sort of thing bothers you.
Additional Credits:
Jonha and CmarNYC for their wonderful sliders.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
