I've always thought that 241 Desmond Drive in Belladonna Cove was an interesting Maxis lot which didn't live up to its potential. So, I decided to rebuild it from scratch, keeping just the inspiration.

The foyer opens onto a covered courtyard which holds a spa, pool and carport, and contains stairs to the upper level. An opening to the right leads into the main level of the house, which is surrounded by a false balcony for privacy.

The great room has a comfortable U-shaped living area and a dining area with seating for eight, along with a chess table and computer desk. The kitchen has half walls to the dining area, so that it is separate from, but still connected to, the great room. If you'd prefer, the half wall could be removed and the counters could be replaced by an island.

A wood floor leads past the great room at the front of the house to the two bedrooms at the back. Each bedroom is spacious and has its own ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a large seating area and the second bedroom has a small desk and a recliner, perfect for a child or teen with homework to do. There is also a powder room for guests near the entry way.

Upstairs is a large patio above the courtyard, perfect for outdoor living. Stairs from the patio lead up to a second patio which is the perfect size for a helipad.

This is not a large house, but it's quite comfortable for a couple with one or two older children.

Lot Size: 3x2
Lot Price: $121,181

These lots were created using the shrinking feature of the LotAdjuster to ensure maximum use of available space.

Rather than using the constrainfloorelevation cheat, I used the TS2GridAdjuster to create the non-standard wall heights:
