He comes from the Ardennes region of Belgium!
In the Middle Ages until the French revolution, each year the monks of the Addain Abbey offered six of these dogs to kings of France!.jpg)
They were known as "Dogs of Saint-Hubert". thanks to their keen sense of smell, they were regarded as the jewels of royal packs! Their blood flow in almost all breeds of hounds, but also in other breeds such as retrievers and Fila Braziliero! Nowadays the bloodhound is still a hunting dog, but also a fabulous auxiliary police (investigations of missing persons). thanks to his kindness he is also a good companion
