With only 16,500 simoleons in their pockets, newly-created sims are destined to live in a starter home with cheap stuff before eventually moving to bigger and better-furnished homes. The cheap stuff causes them to gain negative moodlets like 'uneven cooking,' 'tastes like fridge' or 'cold shower.' They are also forced to sleep on cheap beds--and the slow energy gain is really annoying, sometimes your sim has no choice but to go to work without showering because he/she is already late for work.
But what can a sim do, right? It's not like you can start (without cheats) in a home with expensive furnishings--a newly created sim won't be able to afford that. They just need to bear with it before they can afford better homes, right?
Nope, not anymore.
I present to you The Black Forest: a starter home, minus the annoyances--it is furnished with expensive stuff (shower, fridge, stove and bed) so that your sim can start their life luxuriously. They deserve it.
(Oh, and yes, the name comes from the Black Forest Cake. Yum.)
