Occasionally, I saw some pictures of the "Morris Island House" by Architect and Owner Jeff Armstrong in a bookstore during my travel. The real building has many plus points to its energy aspect and green aspect. I find that house amazing, especially the two floor plans, illustrated in that book. It inspired me to build this house in Sims 4. The House here is not a 1 to 1 copy. One reason is that the other three sides of that real house are not illustrated. I just make the rest things through my imagination and adjust it to be suitable for Sims 4 play character.

My experiment here is, on one hand to get the roof construction like the real one, and, on the other hand to get the ground floor in two different heights. The dinning room, living room and kitchen are partly opened to each other and partly separated by fireplace-wall as well as stairs. I find it interest to get intervisibility between the dinning room, the stairs, the kitchen and the bar on a corner of living room. Here is an example of looking into the kitchen by sitting on a sofa in the living room.

My other concept is to define the two separate houses on this lot its different functions: one for living and one for working / hobby. Here is an example of the home office in the wood house: the two working places are arranged like in an office. A small reception is near the entry. The large surface near the stairs is prepared for some collections later. Upstairs is there an artist's studio.

This lot (furnished, landscaped) is capable for a young couple with a son and a daughter with hobbies art and technique. The front garden has enough places for two cars and even a spaceship. There is also a side garden with sunflowers! You can browse more pictures at the top of this entry. I hope you like it.

Some notes:
- The fireplaces in the living room and dinning room are standing on a base. The sims can not light up the fireplace while he/she stands on the ground floor. (It is stupid. :D) You may build a temp stairs in front of the fireplace, let one sim enkindle it, let the sim go away and then just remove the stairs.
- Only the sunflowers and the car will return to its small size, when you first time open this lot. You may use hot keys "Shift" + " ] " (English keyboard) or ""Shift" +" ยด " (German keyboard) to increase the size of objects.
- There is no CC in this furnished lot, but items of Night Digital Content.
- If you want to decorate the rooms in your ways, you can download the unfurnished one, which costs only 51.306.
