Career Path
Level 1: Cupcake Blogger
Your biggest favourite hobby is baking, you're a whizz in the kitchen, and you heard that people earn lots of money by starting a blog. You want to give it a try but after a month of blogging your audience still consists of your mom, the neighbors and a handful of elderly women who can't see the difference between salt and sugar. You better start improving those charisma skills!

Level 2: Pastry Seller
As much as you love your cupcake blog, you weren't making much. Your local baker was looking for an assistant to run the shop while she bakes. It's better money though not much. To encourage you, the baker says you might be able to help in the kitchen from time to time. From this day you'll be working the till, talking a lot about the weather with customers and taking orders from the phone. Hopefully, you'll be baking soon.
You managed to befriend your boss and she decided you've got enough potential to start baking things. There isn't much space for creativity yet, you HAVE to follow the recipes but at least you're busy baking. Perhaps you should think about reading some more pastry blogs online? Improving your cooking skills never hurt anyone! (well, yeah expect that one guy that set his kitchen in fire when he tried to make pancakes).
You've worked your butt off these last few weeks, and your boss admires that. She gives you the freedom to create your own line of pastries and teaches you everything you need to know about the market, customers, suppliers and retail strategies. She is beginning to see you as her own family and you get to be in charge of the bakery when she's out of town.
Your new pastries line is a huge success, people from all over Simcity come to the bakery to taste your creations. Your boss is very pleased with that and she knows you love baking more than running things so you work part-time now so you can focus more on improving your pastries. Since a publisher has called you to offer you a book deal, you could really use the rest of your time to find some more original recipes!
You love baking more than ever, and you want to pass on everything you have learned. Your boss sees that and she wants to try something new too. She has the idea to let you lead some workshops, teaching people how to bake, decorate and experiment. The workshops become so popular that you are fully booked for the next three months! Keep on working on that creativity and cooking skill, since your book isn't ready yet, it could use some more recipes!
Your book is finished, and it's a huge success, a very important baking magazine has even asked you to write a weekly column for them! You resign from the bakery and travel across the country to serve your delicious pastries at parties. Soon, you are a well-respected and popular baker, even some celebrities have taken interest in hiring you.
All the applications and requests to make cupcakes and pastries are overwhelming but you got yourself a nice budget to stop cooking and running your website at home. Therefore you buy an office were you have your own kitchen and you hire someone who can take care of your blog and website. Later that day you receive a phone call, your former boss has died, and since she had no family left, you inherited her five bakeries. Things are really looking good for you!
After stabilizing your business, you have time to fulfill the thing you've been dreaming of since you were just a kid: participating in the famous cupcake master competition. High cooking and creativity skills are required and after some short nights and long days of skilling you earn yourself a place in the competition.
Congratulations, cupcake master was a piece of cake for you. It is rumored that winners often get some nice deals and indeed the Producers of SimCity Channel have been watching you since your book came out and decided you could become a huge hit on television. You are the first baker to have your own TV-show and you're pretty nervous about this huge deal, but your first appearance reaches high viewer ratings. You live the dream, you own your own pastries line, you have five successful bakeries, you won cupcake master and every Friday, you teach sims all over the world the art of baking. You can proudly call yourself the ''Cake Boss''.
You've read Blogging For Dummies and learned that timing your blogposts is very important. You have the choice to post in the morning, so people have time enough to try your recipes, or you could post in the evening, when most sims are at home. Should you post your articles in the morning or in the evening?
Level 2
It is a very busy time in the bakery and there's a customer who wants to place an urgent order, however your boss told you to reject orders because they already accepted too many. You hesitate, the customer looks important, what should you do? Accept the order or reject it?
Level 3
You are following a recipe to make chocolate macaroons but you can't find chocolate anywhere on the premises. Your boss is away having a weekend in the country. Should you call her and disturb her holiday, since it is a rather big problem or should you improvise with what you have?
Level 4
Your boss is out of town and you get a call from the bank to say that last month's loan isn't paid yet. You don't know what to do, since your boss hasn't told you anything about finance. You try to call your boss but she doesn't answer her phone. She did give you the address of the hotel where she's staying. Should you just wait a few days until she's back or should you drive to her hotel?
Level 5
You managed to find a lot of lovely recipes for your cookbook. But you realize that a book filled with cupcake and pastries recipes is nothing without some nice pictures, should you hire a photographer or make the pictures yourself to save money?
Level 6
You have a workshop planned for Saturday but you get a phone call from someone whose voice you vaguely recognize. She wants to hire you to give a workshop at her daughter's birthday. She also wants to pay you a lot of money. Should you take the money or be loyal to the customers who have been waiting months to get a place in one of your workshops?
Level 7
You are eating your lunch in a tearoom while two men are discussing muffins across the room. You want to take this opportunity to talk about your own line of muffins, you could always use some more customers. but you are a little bit intimidated by them. Do you take the risk to just go and talk to them or do you just wait and listen a little bit more to the conversation before you decide to “attack” them?
Level 8
You have a little bit of money left after starting your own business and you can't decide what to do with it, a big lottery is coming up and you've always wanted to try it. Should you spent 1000 simoleons to buy lottery tickets?
Level 9
It's the first day of you Cupcake Master Competition tests. You are very excited about it, but also kind of stressed. You only have one hour left before you need to start your first test, should you revise the basics of baking or rest and go to the toilet in the hour you have left?
Level 10
A friend of yours you've known since kindergarten is a huge fan of your work. It's almost his birthday and you wonder what you would want to give him. You can take him backstage to one of the shoots for your TV-show or you could give him a year-long free pastries gift card.

Problems
I tested the career in my own game and everything works like it is supposed to, I haven't had the chance to "legally" test my chance cards tough.
