Lettering, that’s what monks used to do before printing.
Today we call it typography. As lettering evolved into typography, it became even wider with the Digital Age. It was, still is actually, a complicated field. Building, drawing a font is easy but to make it as effective as before is not the same story.

Nevertheless, writing is mesmerizing and using letters as art and not only as mere mean of communication is how some artists and graphists like to express themselves.
