Don't you just love it when you're modifying things without being 100% sure of what you're doing, and it still comes out right?
Well, this is the case with the basegame medicine cabinet, which I thought of turning into a mirror!
It's fully usable as a mirror, complete with interactions and proper rigs. This, however, means it can't be Viewed as a decor item anymore.
Details
Work process
These are technical details that aren't needed for using the object, just felt like writing them down
I was going to leave it non-reflective initially (mind-bogglingly illogical, I know) because I couldn't quite figure out how to get the doors to be reflective. I tried to edit the specular a few times in the hopes of isolating those areas, and finally figured out it the reflective properties are shader-based instead of image-based after a while, haha. After that it was smooth sailing!
Note: I would advise against making this mirror edit shiftable up and down the wall, as it will cause Sims to sink into the ground or float above it.

Details
- Environment score of 3, gives Charisma skill, increases Fun (these stats are borrowed from the mirror).
- Now found under Decor \ Mirrors, Bathroom \ Mirrors, Bathroom \ Accents.
- You need to replace existing cabinets for the DR version to work!
- If you play with walls down, you will have to put them up in order to see and use the cabinet.

- Cloned with S3OC and changed room, environment, skill and wall position flags.
- Changed the cabinet's script class to that of a basegame mirror.
- Replaced the _RIG, FTPT and RSLT resources from the cabinet with those from the mirror.
- Edited the MLOD and MODL resources to change the door shader from Glass to FlatMirror.
- Replaced the default in-game thumbnail with a custom one generated by the game.
Note: I would advise against making this mirror edit shiftable up and down the wall, as it will cause Sims to sink into the ground or float above it.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
