With the latest patch EA graced us with Diwali Celebration themed objects. Among them were several strings of lights.
I was surprised to discover, when I tried them, that though they glowed prettily, they did not produce any light.
Lights that don't light up?
Isn't producing light the whole point of lights?
Well, there was no way I was going to let that stand.
I chose the shortest strand of lights and turned them into... well, lights.
Yay for Illumination!
I didn't stop there.
I shrunk them down so you could have more decorating options, and added color, lots of color, as well as new bulb shapes: snowflakes, sunflower bulbs and double bulb sets.
Four types of bulbs, 36 colorful options in all.
That's without including the bulb combinations you can create yourself by using a strand of double bulbs and adding any other type of bulb strand. (No cheats required.)
Looking for some ideas of how you can use your new lights and how to combine them? Check out the images above for suggestions.
Fresh Wall Lights can be found in Lighting under Wall Lights.
The price per strand is: 20 Simoleons
Note: All lights produce a soft, warm white glow. Using multiple strands will increase the intensity of the light. Due to the type of mesh this uses, the color and intensity of the illumination cannot be changed.

Recolors, mesh edits, and bulb designs by me.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
