This mod replaces the kid-friendly 'Plasma' with more realistic names. Some examples are as follows:
If you want a more minimal version in the meantime, there is another mod by Letisiya which only modifies the strings from the Vampires stuff pack and contains multiple languages here. I originally made this because I wanted a more complete version of that mod and wasn't as fond of how Letisiya worded things.
FAQ
Q: Does this mod work after the latest update?
A: Due to the way this mod works, it should function perfectly fine after any current or future updates with no further input on my part. The only caveat to this is that any new plasma-related strings added in these updates may not be changed. As such, the best thing you can do is download the mod and let me know about any non-changed strings you encounter in the comments. This will make it clearer whether any content is missing for your fellow users and also make it easier for me to update the mod to include these strings in the future.
Q: Does this mod change every mention of 'plasma' in the game?
A: Yes, though only the ones that are actually referring to blood so you won't end up with a BloodTron 3000 Flat Screen TV. If you encounter a string that mentions plasma (or something adjacent) that you feel should be changed, please post the full string in the comments and I'll see what I can do.
Q: Does this mod change anything else?
A: Nope, just changes strings mentioning plasma from the DLCs mentioned in the 'Compatibility' section.
Q: Does this mod support multiple languages?
A: Currently, no. Unfortunately I'm not multilingual so can't effectively make these changes in other languages.
Compatibility
This should be compatible with any other mods that don't edit the same strings. If you encounter any specific incompatible mods, let me know in the comments and if there's enough demand I'll look into making a compatible version.
You don't need any expansion packs to use this mod but you'll need one or more of the following packs for it to have any effect:
