Hi everyone ,

Armand Jean du Plessis de Richelieu (1585-1642), known as Cardinal Richelieu, Cardinal-Duke of Richelieu and Duke of Fronsac, was a clergyman and statesman. Pair of France, he was the chief minister of King Louis XIII.
This portrait was realized around 1639 by the French artist Philippe de Champaigne. It now hangs at the Louvre Museum, Paris, France.
