A public bath is very useful, everybody is grateful that their neighbours and friends go there.
It's also a lovely place to get to know your fellow sims, make make acquaintances in the sauna, play some ping pong and have a laugh, get a professional massage or just have a snack and relax.

This lot belongs to the Fjordsund project , a challenge I made for myself, making a Norwegian village 200 years back in time. (The game give some limitations that I try to overlook, but I try to get as close to history as possible, without losing playability. The Sims without playability is not fun. Anyway...)

A proper bath and running water were a luxury for Norwegians 200 years ago. Most farms had a wooden "badestamp" (hot tub) they placed in the barn or kitchen floor and filled manually with hot water. This was a lot of work, so baths were taken quite rare, but usually people had one before Christmas at least, or at other special occasions. In larger towns they might have a bath house, for the public to come to clean up.

We are really pleased that the citizens of Fjordsund now can enjoy this facility. Hope you like it too!
