Update 1.7
Added Ghost Rise Tune, First Kiss Tune, Best Friend Tune and Bumper-Tunes based on Sims 1 with all possible variants

NOTE: This mod is still compatible after the Crystal Creations-Patch

If you're like me and rather want a more retro-like Sims feel for this game, when it comes to experience certain events then this may be the mod for you.

This mod replaces some of the event tunes in Sims 4 with some from Sims 3 and other Sims games for example the first kiss tune gets changed to the one from The Sims 3.

Nostalgic, isn't it?

Installation Instructions

This is a multi-part mod

Replace the desired tunes by using the Sound Replacement List as guidance. Keep in mind, that some files will replace the same tune Check the Replaced Ressources for that matter.
If 2 files replacing the same ressource are installed, the file coming earlier in alphabetical order will take priority.

Known Issues

-Grim Reaper-Tune doesn't always play.
-Star Wars Aspirations from Gameplay-Pack Journey to Batuu use Aspiration-Complete Tune, when completing Aspiration Parts instead of Aspiration Part-Completion Tune (This is EA's fault)

This mod may get additional content in the future once I figure out more event tunes to change

Planned for example is the "Wish Fulfill"-Tune from Sims 3 but haven't found the right ressource for it yet.

thepancake1 and MizoreYukii have developed mods on Patreon to replace the Want, Pie Menu and Time Control Sound Effects with SFX from earlier Sims Titles. I highly recommend combining their mods with mine!

I also recommend this mod to replace the music ingame

Have fun turning Sims 4 more retro with these swapped sounds!
