It shouldn't surprise anyone anymore that two expansions released like three months apart, do not take each other into account: so the Power Generator of Eco Lifestyles (June '20) actually generates power, while the Power Generator of Journey to Batuu (September '20) does not.
Good thing that also means it isn't too hard to fix.
  • MindB_ender_GP09_PowerGenerator - Functional Star Wars Power Generator.
  • MindB_ender_GP09_MoistureVaporator - Functional Star Wars Moisture Vaporator.

Details:
  • Looks, original functionality, pricing, environmental impact etc. have not been changed to prevent negatively impacting existing lots.
  • The packages overwrite the Object Catalogs and Definitions and will clash with other cc that does the same.
  • Both objects are now also available under Appliances > Misc
  • Packages can be installed and work separately.
  • Note: Neither has "broken" effects, so your sims will need to check up on them to see if they are still functional.

The Batuu Power Generator basically functions like a Power Generator from Eco Lifestyles.
  • Without the industrial impact.
  • Emission free, so that part can not be upgraded.
  • Will get hot and may cause fires when fueled up and switched on.
  • When switched off will function like a Power Generator from Journey to Batuu.
  • Works Off the Grid.

The Moisture Vaporator basically functions like an Atmospheric Condenser from Eco Lifestyles.
  • Without the industrial impact.
  • Still works like an outdoor light/lamp as well.
  • Does not require fuel as it works on grid power consumption.
  • Place on a lot with power and it will start converting that to water.

So now you can actually be a Moisture Farm Boy and go to Tosche Station to pick up some Power Converters.

It was easier to make this then to see if someone on some site already made it, sorry 'bout that.
I started on the Power Droid (Gonk) like a Power Generator, but decided that requires far more modding to do it justice (including animations and other droid functionality). If you have the skills to do so - I at least would very much like to see your mod!
