Description
The original Seaweed from base game is just a debug object. I made a modified version override the original Seaweed.
Now you could found Seaweed by fishing. Seaweed could be cooking ingredients to make Onigiri or Seaweed Ramen. And I shrink the size of Seaweed model to ensure it won’t be weird when sims eating seaweed. You also could get it from Debug Buy Mode, it costs $14.

  • Name: Seaweed
  • Description: Seaweed can be found while fishing and is very common.
  • Price: $14
  • Polygon count: LOD0=212

How to Catch Seaweed by Fishing?


Go fishing would get a chance to catch seaweed.
  • If sim catch junk would have 100% chance also found seaweed.
  • If sim catch nothing would have 50% chance also found seaweed.
  • If sim catch treasure would have 25% chance also found seaweed.
  • If sim successful catch fish would have 5% chance also found seaweed.

What Happened After Sim Ate a Seaweed?

I added a new buff mood named "Fresh Catch":
  • Seaweed as a normal vegetable, one seaweed could fill 15 hunger points.
  • (Required City Living and Island Living) If sim is a vegetarian-mermaid would get a happy+2 mood "Fresh Catch" for 4 sim-hours.
  • (Required Island Living) If sim is a mermaid with 'child of the ocean' would get a happy+2 mood "Fresh Catch" for 4 sim-hours.

Seaweed as a Cooking ingredients

(Required Cottage Living and Snowy Escape) If you play Simple Living Challenge, you will need Seaweed to make Onigiri or Seaweed Ramen.

This mod have one package: c82_Seaweed.package

Conflicts
This mod overrides the following resources and will conflict with other mods that also modify these resources.
