I hate waiting, and so do you. Thusly I have reduced the cooldown on Donating to Charity on the computer. Why should we wait a full 24 sim hours to gain the influence and positive buffs of being a generous sim? But as is usually the case, if there are those of you out there who would prefer an even longer wait (though I can't comprehend why) I have included the usual cooldown increases.

As a bonus, I have also included the option to only donate 1§ to those charities. Maybe your down on you're luck but still feel to help the less fortunate. Or maybe you're just stingy and only donate the bare minimum to assuage your guilt. In any case, you are now able to donate literally the bare minimum. But don't think your stinginess will go unpunished. Such low donations can't possibly generate enough good will among your neighbors to give you any influence... so you get none no matter how many times you donate. All other rewards equal the 10§ donation.

Ostensibly, this mod was created more to see if I could handle adding interactions onto objects like the computer. I had difficulty using the XML Injector so I had to resort to actual scripting. All flavors come with the donate 1§ addon, but if you don't want that, simply don't install the .ts4script and it will work fine.

Flavors are:
  • 4 hours cooldown reduction
  • 8 hours
  • 12 hours
  • 16 hours
  • 36 hours cooldown increase
  • 48 hours
  • 72 hours
  • Donate 1§ only, no cooldown change.
