Hello and welcome!

Allow me to show you a house that has belonged to my family since it was built in the 1950s by my great-grandfather, a lieutenant general in aviation, and where I spent the first two summers of my life until my parents bought their own summer home in 1999. I've only been there a few times after that, and the last visit was more than ten years ago, as the house now belongs to my aunt.
As the name suggests, this isn't an exact copy, but rather a vision composed of the few foggy memories I've left and a single Polaroid picture I was able to find:

This is an old two-story cottage made of wood. There are four bedrooms, a bathroom, a compact kitchen, a living room and a small terrace.
There is an additional room on the second floor that I couldn't remember, but my father came at the last minute and reminded me of its existence. According to him, it was never finished and turned into a kind of secret closet.
There is also a tiny closet-like room behind the stairs on the first floor, but I never knew what exactly it was used for, so I filled it with something random to fill the space.

Outside there are a LOT of pines (that's probably one of the clearest memories I have - the whole property was basically a pine forest with a bunch of giant anthills lol), a garden area with a greenhouse, a small playground, and a shed.

After I finished it, I showed the result to my parents who obviously remembered a lot more than I did and, well, I was pretty close. I messed up the layout of the house a bit and mixed up a few things, but overall they liked it.

Also, apparently, the lot was bigger on the left side and there, behind a hedge, was my great-grandmother's rose garden. But honestly, there was no point in adding that because although I remember some sort of secret garden thing being there, I didn't know what exactly was hidden behind the bushes until now.

The only CC this lot needs is the invisible driveway, but that is 100% optional, nothing is gonna break if you don't have it.

Guess that's where the trip down the memory lane ends. Not gonna lie, I really wish to visit this cottage again just to refresh some old memories and unveil a couple of mysteries, which this place is full of. No wonder I like Lovecraft's novelettes about old houses so much lol.

Have a nice one!
