Updated 12/13/24. Now included is a "Stack of Comic Books" clutter item that also serves as a bookshelf pre-loaded with all ten comic books for §50 and a txt file that reminds what the effects of each books are.

If your Sims have too little time properly to inculcate the five Character Values from Parenthood (Responsibility, Emotional Control, Conflict Resolution, Empathy, and Manners) into their children, they can find help...in comic books!

Although they have a variety of effects for readers of various ages, these custom (superhero comic) books for your Sims to read are, first and foremost, designed make it easier for children (and teens) to acquire the five Character Values. Each is only §5 and can be found under the Children's Genre (for convenience) as well as other Genres appropriate to their subjects.

Each comic book carries an emotional buff, which lasts for 12 hours.

Those buffs also diminish the effects of certain negative emotions.

These buffs affect the speed at which Sims acquire Character Values.

The buffs also affect the acquisition of certain Skill Groups, making them useful for readers of any age.

For generations, heroic comic books have encouraged both the young and old to better themselves and their world. Now they can do the same for your Sims!
Creator Recommendations:
By no means necessary, but, if you are going to have Sims being roused to acquire Physical Skills by reading Green Arrow comics, then the least you can do is download The Archery Skill for them to acquire!
