In the original upload, neutral and shy sims were responding similar to neutral sims. Now they will only respond with single slap as indicated by the chart.

This is a new version that incorporates Chris Hatch's MenDontHitGirls mod. In my version, male sims will not autonomously slap female sims. They will do so when directed by the player.


Original Post

This upload includes two separate mods to add variety to the slap interaction.

1. This first one is shy_slap_for_shynice_sims.
The game has codes enabling shy (300 or less points in outgoing) or nice (700 or more points in nice) sims to use the shy slap animation when doing the slap interaction. However, this is not active during game play because the bhav which enables this has the nodes unlinked.

The file shy_slap_for_shynice_sims fixes this.


2. The second mod is my variety version for slap interaction: slap_interaction_variety

With this mod, sims will use different slap animations depending on their personality. They will use one of three slap animations available in the game.

Edit: During testing, I noticed that when slapped, sims with nice points 6 and above would just stand there staring angrily, while sims with 5 points and below would slap back and then walk away to cry. This seemed off to me, so I switched it. Now sims will walk away and cry if they did not slap back, while sims that slap back will stare angrily afterwards.

The chart below shows which animations sims use based on their personality points.
These terms refer to sims with the specified personality points:
Nice (700 or more points in Nice)
Shy (300 or less points in Outgoing)
Neutral (between 300-700 points in Nice)
Mean (300 or less points in Nice)



Conflicts: Any mod that modifies the slap interaction will conflict with this mod. This mod does not conflict with shy_slap_for_shynice_sims, nor does it require it to work. Choose one of the two.
