Northton University - CC Free and Populated Subhood

Warning: Premade Sims Getting Stuck at Class Issue
I have been made aware of an issue where the premade sims (Sorority and Fraternity) will get stuck at class and are unable to come back. I'm currently working on a fix for this, but it doesn't affect any newly made sims, so those are safe to play, and from my testing the Sweethearts household is currently also safe to play in the latest (v4) version.

In the meantime, if this happens to you, you can get your sim unstuck by using the batbox .

If you would like to play the fraternity or sorority currently, what appears to work to solve the problem is using the college adjuster and manually setting the sims semester to something other than what it is currently, and then setting it back to the original semester. From my testing this solves the issue once the hood has been added, but doesn't fix the issue in the template version, though I don't know if it's a permanent fix. If you would like to play with the sorority or fraternity and NOT manually fix it, I would suggest moving the premade sims out and replacing them with your own sims. I will update again when I get it working properly!

I've updated the subhood to v3 which should make the sim names be consistent in games set to different languages.

I have fixed the missing library lot in the latest hood download (U103_v2.zip), and have also added the library lot as a separate download as well, so if you downloaded the subhood before January 11th 2026 and want to update already added version of it to include the library, you can get the .package file and bring it into your existing hood. You should regardless update the subhood template with the latest version, so if you add Northton University to another neighborhood in the future, it will contain the library by default.

Northton University is a populated, CC free, fully custom university subhood and terrain. There are 24 custom dormies premade, and 3 premade households, 1 being a sorority, 1 a fraternity, and another a rented house. It uses the NID U103, and requires a camera mod to see the entire hood.

There are 3 households and 12 playable premade sims, and 24 premade dormies.

There are 19 lots, 2 greek houses, 3 dormitories, 4 rentable houses, 9 community lots, and 1 secret society lot.

If you use any University length mods and play any premade sim, you'll have to use Cyjon's Debugger to fix them, otherwise their first semester will be default length.

Installation Info:
Since this is a subhood, it has to be installed differently than a regular neighborhood. To install this as a subhood template, go to:
C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\University Life\EP1\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate
Place the U103 folder into the NeighborhoodTemplate folder. You should now be able to add it as a university subhood in game!
