"Trendsetting Outskirt" lot is a remake and a remodel of a "Brookside" from "The Sims 3: Pets" Appaloosa Plains neighbourhood. Originally in TS3 this house is old and destroyed. It's owned by a cat lover, introvert old lady named Hetty Lionheart.

Firstly I wanted to make it into a renovated victorian house and leave it as it was, just better. But I didn't manage to do that. What I created is an British, brick, victorian version of this house. So basically I only took the shell of the house 😂
I'm kind of sad about it because I had something totally different in my mind when I was thinking of creating this house in "The Sims 2". So there is the final product and I'm not unhappy about the effect, it's just diffrent than I thought it would be. It's not ugly though, so I'm putting it on the site, maybe someone would like to have it in their game.

I'm leaving a lot of space in the basement. (Yes your sims CAN enter the basement!). You can arrange it however you like. I didn't have much ideas about it. I just knew I wanted to add more space into the house just in case.

Lot description I created:
Do you remember that grandma's house which you visited in your childhood? Do you remember the smell of the bedroom you slept in? Do you remember that your grandma always had a snack for you hidden somewhere in the kitchen where only you could find it so your parents wouldn't know about it? Do you remember the sound of the old fridge in the night which brought you nightmares? Or the clock that always made sound in the middle of the night but you never noticed it during the day? Do you remember this cracking sound that the old wooden floor made? Do you remember this big garden where you could play all day and forget about the whole world? Well... This house is exactly that. An old, victorian house where you could spend the best time of your life.

Mods I recommend to use with this lot:
(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftable Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

- Perfect Plants (Some of the plants in garden are set on cheats and your sims may have problems to get to them to take care of those plants.)

- Watch TV from all chairs (Sometimes I set TVs in places that sims can't really wath them from chairs or sofas. This mod will help them to sit and watch the TVs.)

- No Fire from Fireplaces (Sometimes I put fireplaces on cheats and near the furniture so be careful with lightning them up or simply download this mod.)

- Use Inaccessible Bed (It helps sims to reach beds if they need to.)

I used cheats to build it and I tested it so everything should work fine.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

There are all needed alarms like fire and burglar alarms in all rooms that they need to be in. They are covered up with furnitures or architecture structures.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.
