I've updated the download since i shouldn't have included Lethe_s's things in my pack; you have to download the great stuff yourselfs, you can find links in this thread.
Got inspired by Numenors tree-house and some ladder-tutorial and decided to make a house in the treetops for my new fantasy neighbourhood. It doesn't look like it but much of my inspiration and aim comes from the wood elves in LOTR. The goal however was to create a simple elvish feeling tree building. Since i then also decided to make it a simple starter elves home I didn't go super-secret, megahidden and extremely luxurious. That I guess is the next step. (As well as not giving up on 4 floors of tree house stealth stairs..)
Imagine: This is one of many tree houses in this forest where the wood elves reside. It's simple and back to basics and nature. It's also very tall and the view is fantastic, as is the lake beneath, so for the poor elf who by it it's very nice. The furniture is chosen to blend in with the tree so that unwanted visitors will notice the house as little as possible.. (And of course a highly elaborate protective charm is set upon the house as well..)
Floors: 4
Rooms: As many as you believe them to be (at least 5)
Price: 13 407 §
Big tree: Two trees on top of each other
EP - Not EP-required, reported working fine without UNI.
As I use the game need meters as a good reference as to what I should have in a house I'll write here what I have put there to satisfy your (elvish) sims needs:
- Hunger: Fridge and cheapest grill
- Bladder: Green value toilet
- Energy: Cheapest double bed
- Comfort: A green leaf couch
- Fun: Juggle bottles, jump in bed, jump in couch, read book, read newspaper
- "Companion":* A couch, chairs and table to eat at
- Environment: Some fence lights, a mirror in the "bathroom"
- Hygien: A wooden bathtub
(*I have the swedish version of the sims so I don't what word they use in english.. ;P)
I also use the skills as guidelines to what I should have in a house;
- Cooking: Bookshelf
- Technic: Bookshelf
- Karisma: Mirror in "bathroom"
- Physique: Nothing (removed) - get the music box by Lethe_s!
- Logic: Newspaper
- Creativity: An easel at the top of the tree, at the lookout place..
- Cleaning: Bookshelf (all and all just one bookshelf.. heh)
There is also and alarm hidden at the bottom of the tree and a fire alarm.
Basic things you should add are; A phone, a dresser and as stated above - a music box by Lethe_s (as that will give you fun, companionship and physique =)
I have tried to stay as realistic as possible, but also with as few mods as possible. I leave it up to you to create a really trustworthy elvish home, there are plenty of midieval things here om MTS2 to download.
The mods I used however:
- Floor; Basket Case by SimSherry2
This might be her: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=15999
(Don't know here you can download it, but it's in the pack anyway..)
- Stairs; Invisible Simple Stairs by ta539
Mesh here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthre...t=simple+stairs
Invisible recolour by eddief66 here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthre...t=simple+stairs
These things are of course included in the sims2pack which I've also looked through with the Clean Installer so that nothing else than these things and the lot segment is there =)
Since this is a very clean download I'll post links to all the cool stuff I've downloaded and used in my modded version and pictures of how it can look.
If you read my links and tips I guarantee your elf will have thee coolest tree house in the forest =)
And just so you know; the coolest thing about this lot is that a lot of the times it actually looks as if the sims are kind of climbing the tree, walking up the stems =) Nice...
Enjoy =)

Install Instructions
1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
