TV Sitcom Major

A situation comedy, usually referred to as a sitcom, is a genre of comedy programming almost exclusively on television today.

Sims have produced their own TV sitcoms, and all aspects of that production are explored in this college major. This major explores the history and importance of the TV sitcom in pop culture.

The courses of study are:

Sem 1 - I Love Bella: How BellaLu invented syndication and re-runs

Sem 2 - Pixel Acres: Classic television theme songs and silly sounds

Sem 3 - The two Dudley's: How re-casting has "Bedevilled" Sims viewers

Sem 4 - Casa Caliente's Company: Comedy through sexual innuendo

Sem 5 - Mrs. Crumplebottom: Hitting people with purses always gets laughs

Sem 6 - The Simnisters: Zany vampires, zombies, and aliens co-habitate

Sem 7 - Good Urbz: Big fun in the Big City (remember "T-N-N-N-T!!!"?)

Sem 8 - *After*Octagon*: Sitcom spin-offs that just don't work
