With these sets of clothing, most outfits are base-game compatible and for elders only, with the exception of the everyday outfits (which require University) and the pajamas (which require Glamour Life) -- both exceptions are also for adults and young adults. Oh, and of course the parkas require Seasons. The green everyday outfit was originally released on TSR as a YA outfit, I just updated it to work with this set.
For the aging hippie in your game, I have three sets of colorful clothing. The blue set is the sparsest, as Maxis has already provided lots of acceptable choices in that color.
The red and gold colors make a very rich combination, although I think I went a bit overboard with the formal outfit. Oh well.
The teal and silver colors are my favorites. You get the most choices with this set, and I'm throwing in the plaid underwear just because it's a close color match. Unfortunately, I made most of these outfits years ago and was very stupid with the file names, so the plaid underwear file is named ElderShorts, the underwear with the white shirt is named ElderUndie2, and the teal swimwear is named ElderSpecial. Back then, I also used to make clothing in too many categories, so those three outfits are all in the sleepwear category as well.
Additional Credits:
All textures taken from Maxis, except for a free online texture used in the red PJs.

This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

About Me
SHARING: You may freely share my objects, hair, any and all textures, and all my recolors on any FREE site (including the Exchange) or through emails to your friends, just so long as you attribute them to me. (You do not have a free site if you offer ''donation items'' that are only available to those who pay you. If you sell ''donation items'' I don't want my things or recolors of my meshes on your site even if those items are free. You can use MTS2 instead. TSR is a paysite and I don't want my stuff there anymore either.)
REQUESTS: I don't do any requests. I only make stuff that I want in my own game. I don't modify my already existing textures and files for someone else, either; it's not that I'm unsympathetic, just that I'm lazy and don't want to spend the time. Sorry.
Sims 1 files: All of my Sims 1 stuff is free to share, just like my Sims 2 stuff. If you're interested in my old stuff, check out my journal (above) and find the entry on Sims 1 for the current links, or scroll to the bottom of the page and check out my signature. :)
